Exhibition ‘Arman. Archaeology of the present’ exhibition

Around fifty pieces by Arman are on show, from inclusions and bowls of objects from the early 1960s, with some iconic examples of accumulations such as cascades, dustbins and the magnificent ‘Accumulation de coupes de violoncelles’ on the terrace, These are followed by later editions of transculptures and sculpture bowls, including the famous ‘Gods and Goddesses’ series, and the astonishing ‘Atlantis’ ensemble from the 1990s, bronzes with a patina like artefacts unearthed from a shipwreck and placed at sea level in the Galerie des Antiques.
