Les Elles – a play

In a VIP lounge at a Paris airport, three women are waiting for the same man, Jean-Loup, a businessman nicknamed ‘Superman’, who is flying from London to Paris.

We meet Maude, his somewhat whimsical and ‘eccentric’ wife, who thinks she’s going to have a romantic dinner with him upon his arrival; Sonia, his business partner – logical and highly organised – who is waiting for him for a business dinner; and Sylvie, his sister, who has a strong personality and has arranged a family gathering.

This wait provides an opportunity to explore their affinities, but also to express their mutual jealousy and, at times, even hatred, as well as their one thing in common: Jean-Loup.

Jean-Loup is the linchpin of their lives and, for each of them, embodies perfection in human form.

What if this were the moment for them to re-examine their relationship with him and let their guard down....
