Literary meeting with Nice authors Martine Mulineris and Nicole Benoît on Wednesday, November 12 at 3 p.m. at the library, 3 boulevard Marinoni.

Martine Mulineris is an author from Nice with a passion for literature and poetry. She began her career by publishing poems and short stories, some of which have won awards: she won first prize in the Concours de la Nouvelle Seniors with Le rêve de Lisa and was awarded a “coup de cœur” at the Printemps des Poètes de la BMVR in 2017.
Her first novel, Très chère Églantine (2022), is a psychological thriller set in Nice against the backdrop of the 2016 terrorist attack, combining suspense and family secrets. She then published Héritage Austral (2024), an adventure and suspense novel that takes its heroine from Brittany to Australia, where she is confronted with mysterious and dangerous events.
Her works are praised for their captivating plots and their attention to geographical and psychological detail. Martine Mulineris remains very attached to her hometown of Nice, which often serves as the setting and inspiration for her stories. Through her novels, she explores the themes of suspense, family, and unexpected encounters, confirming her place in contemporary regional and national literature.

Nicole Benoît is a writer born in Nice, who is also a painter.
She taught literature for around ten years, notably in France and Polynesia.
Her literary work includes historical and detective novels, such as Les Chevaliers and Le Tableau.
Her latest novel, Les Chemins de solitude, is set in an America marked by World War II.
She also devotes herself to painting and drawing on the French Riviera.
Nicole Benoît actively participates in local literary life by hosting meetings with her readers.
Her commitment to literature and the arts makes her an important figure in the Nice cultural scene.
